RE: Eugene OR to Eureka CA

Might want to go down and take Hwy 38 across vs. Hwy 126, its a much nicer road, more pull outs and passing lanes.

RE: Anybody put jet ski's in their toy hauler?

Few folks have on here, trailers for the JetSki's, some take an ATV along to do the loading/unloading and launch/retrieval.

RE: DW is real nervous

I can relate, first time I rode with my wife driving I was about to scramble up the wall. Try having her watch you and not the road, or take a seat in the back for a bit. It took me a while to get comfortable, yeah I'm a bit of a control freak so turning over the reigns was hard but man I sure like being able to take a snooze while heading down the road. Just takes time.

RE: Laptop burned out BUT........

I've done it but never needed Linux, just hook up to another XP box and grab the data off. Sadly its happened to many times; overheating laptop fried 2 HDs, another overheated and fried itself, another had the power plug connection to the motherboard break twice.

RE: rode a different ATV today

The Zuki KQ could be my next ATV I like the Polaris but much like CanAm they really like their prices too. Last KQ I looked at was pretty fairly priced I thought.

RE: Wondering what happen to 5th airborne web page?

They were bought out by Cequent Towing Products which owns many of the major brands, no idea about the status of airborne though its not listed on the Cequent website yet.

RE: A message from Mike Schneider, CEO, Affinity

DOTLDaddy, I don't think you have anything to worry about as far as subscription fees - at least nothing I've heard of.

RE: Routes to Bend, OR from I-5 or I-84

I'd be more inclined to head south on I-5 and take Hwy 22 to Hwy 20/126 to Bend. As Bud says the stop at Timberline can be great, just need to decide if that's in your plans or not. Hwy 97 is a pretty heavy trucking Hwy, having driven it many times I try to avoid it when I can.

RE: Have decided but need help

Most RVs don't extend their warranty to those that full time in their rigs, so do check into that as you shop. Sadly KZ dropped some of their higher end units that I would recommend, if you can still find a KZ Escalade I'd take a look at one of those. I'd check out the Glendale Titanium MPRV and Newmar X-Aire. The Northwood Desert Fox are good 4 season rigs, but IMHO not as well appointed as some others. Jayco has one of the longer warranties at 2 years, but again I'm not sure of their fulltimer exclusions.

RE: What to use to clean Spilled Gas on Floor

I always just ventilated the room, used paper towels then sprayed Simple Green on and wiped it up.

Keystone recalls 304 Fuzion Travel Trailers

Keystone RV Company is recalling 304 2010 Fuzion travel trailers and fifth wheels to correct an improper label, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced. The units in question fail to comply with the requirements of Part 567 certification in that the information provided on the federal identification tag and tire/loading information label is incorrect. Overloading the RV can lead to tire failure, which increases the risk of a crash. Keystone will mail the corrected tag to consumers, or RV owners have the option of having dealers install the labels for them free of charge. The recall is currently underway. For more information, RV owners may contact Keystone at 866.425.4369. SOURCE: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announcement

RE: New OPtions

Need to know more things, what you are going to haul in it, what you're going to tow it with, what type of camping and other features you would like to have.

RE: what other youth quads comparable to trx90?

Ron I wouldn't hesitate to suggest the Polaris 90, served my to boys very well. Forward & Reverse, we had an Eton as well but the electronic shifting could drive my youngest crazy at times too. Eton was smaller, bit sportier but IMHO not as stable as the seat seemed a bit higher up. The Polaris seat was also very comfortable too. I don't know how it meets CA standards, but you can find that out pretty easy. Watch CraigsList, that's where I sold both of ours.

RE: Bounce and bump ?

Not being full is part of the problem, the fuel/water slosh back and forth and create the push forward. Are you using a 5th Wheel Hitch or Gooseneck? How big is your Fuzion?
